Today I stood in front of Guitar Center to see if I could snag a lovely new guitar! But before I go into that.
I lost my wallet.
I didn't want to admit that I did, and insisted that someone must of stole it from under my nose. But, I new the truth. I lost it somehow, and probably when I was asleep during the commute to school. Luckily someone found it and then I knew I was the one who lost it. I fell asleep in the lobby and dropped my wallet in the process. Then I went to class. Fail. Luckily someone found it, messaged me on Facebook, and we were able to meet up. Yes, thankyouthankyouthankyou.
Now that I had my wallet I went to guitar center after work. It was reopened behind Fenway Park and looks MUCH better than the one at BU. So I decided to buy a guitar from there after seeing Jennifer--A girl I just met when it opened, bought one. It is a Yamaha F335 and It was only 100 bucks. I also saw Jerry!
I still need to work it out though. Single notes sound just fine, but chords sound gross. Hmm.
And after I bought the guitar I proceeded to walk home where I saw Prospect Hill preforming by Fenway park- in celebration for the GC opening of course. Dude, they were pretty awesome. So after meeting up with Jennifer, we went closer to the stage to listen to them play. Man they are really good. Epicness! And I have to say they are AWESOME live. What's another thing that's awesome about them? Well they're from Mass. What.
So I bought their CD.And Adam, (Voaclist-Dude, we shook hands lol) Edgar (Bassist) and Derek (Guitarist) signed it. The other guys weren't there.
It was super loud and there were only about 20 people there (everyone else was inside GC), and that just made it so more fun to enjoy, and even though I still cant hear now-24 hours later- it was epic. Epic Day, Epic Day.
